Sweet pepper relish

Sweet pepper relish is a traditional preparation that has accompanied various cuisines for decades, especially in homemade recipes that seek to highlight the fresh and simultaneously tangy flavor of peppers. Its origin dates back to the combination of vegetable pickling techniques brought by European colonizers who, using native ingredients, created a versatile condiment. In different Latin American countries, this preparation may be known by names such as "pepper chutney," "pickled peppers," or simply "relish," although the base always includes sweet peppers and a preservation process using vinegar and sugar.

This relish is used to complement meats, breads, and traditional dishes, providing a colorful touch and balanced flavor that enhances both textures and aromas on the family table.
