Spritz cookies

Spritz cookies have a history dating back to the Christmas traditions of countries like Denmark and Germany, where they have been made for centuries to celebrate the holidays. In Latin America, although they are not as popular in all countries, they are known and enjoyed especially in communities with European influence. In Mexico and some Central American countries, these cookies are also called "pressed butter cookies" or simply butter cookies, due to the technique of shaping them with a special press. In other parts of Latin America, they are often associated with similar cookies in texture and flavor, although with different names according to the regions and local customs.

Their main characteristic is their delicate texture and decorative design, achieved thanks to the cookie press, which makes them ideal for presentations during celebrations. Almonds are often incorporated to provide a slightly toasted aroma and flavor that complements the sweetness of the dough. These cookies are perfect for sharing on special occasions or simply enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea.
