How to Prepare Lasagna Rolls

Ingredients: Ground meat, onion, egg, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano, salt, ground pepper, mozzarella cheese, lasagna pasta, spaghetti sauce.

Steps:

Brown the ground meat in a skillet.

Drain the fat.

Add the onion and sauté until translucent.

Mix the egg, ricotta, parmesan, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and 1 cup of mozzarella in a bowl until well combined.

Pour about 1 cup of spaghetti sauce into the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.

Spread about 1 1/2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture and 1 tablespoon of the meat mixture onto each lasagna sheet.

Carefully roll up each sheet, starting from the short edge, jelly-roll style.

Carefully place, seam side down, in the baking dish with sauce.

Continue filling and rolling the sheets until the dish is full. A 9 x 13 inch dish can hold 15 rolls.

Cover the rolls with the remaining sauce.

Top with the remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
