Pork ribs in sour sauce are a traditional dish that has won over palates in various cultures. Originating from the home cooking of several regions, these ribs have become popular for their flavor, which is a balance between sweet and sour, coming from the combination of fresh ingredients and spices. In Latin America, this dish can be found under different names depending on the country: in Mexico, it is commonly known as "costillas en salsa agridulce" (sweet and sour ribs), while in countries like Argentina or Chile, they are simply called "costillas en salsa" (ribs in sauce). The preparation and ingredients may vary slightly, adapting to local flavors but always maintaining the sour and savory essence that characterizes this recipe. Its versatility and simple way of preparation have made it a classic for family gatherings and informal celebrations.
