Cheesecake is a dessert that has won over palates worldwide, and although its origin is commonly associated with American cuisine, its roots date back to ancient Greece, where a similar sweet made from fresh cheese and honey was prepared. In Latin America, this delicious cheese cake goes by different names and variants depending on the country. For example, in Mexico and some Caribbean countries it is known as "pastel de queso", while in Argentina and Chile it is called "tarta de queso". Each region adapts the recipe to its local ingredients and preferences, resulting in unique versions that reflect its culinary culture.
