History and Origin of Lasagna
Lasagna is a traditional Italian dish that has won over palates all over the world. Its origin dates back to Roman times, although the modern version as we know it today became popular in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Over the years, each country has adapted this recipe with its own ingredients and flavors, creating unique and delicious versions.
In Latin America, lasagna keeps its name, although in some countries like Mexico and Argentina it is commonly known as "lasagna". However, the shape and ingredients can vary considerably. For example, in Mexico it is common to add beef, chorizo, or even native ingredients, while in Argentina they tend to use abundant cheese and very tasty homemade sauces. This versatility has made lasagna a favorite dish for family gatherings and celebrations.
The recipe presented here is an innovative interpretation: Buffalo Chicken Lasagna Jean S style, which combines the spicy and characteristic flavor of buffalo sauce with the smoothness and creaminess of ricotta cheese, resulting in a modern and flavorful dish that pays homage to Italian tradition fused with contemporary touches.
