Banana bread with sourdough

Banana bread is a traditional recipe that has won over palates around the world. Originating in the United States, where it became popular during the 20th century as a delicious way to use ripe bananas, this bread combines the natural sweetness of the fruit with the spongy texture of cake. In Latin America, it goes by different names and variations: in Mexico it is often known as "panqué de plátano," while in countries like Argentina and Chile it is simply called "budín de plátano." In some parts of Central America, it is called "pan de banano," and the recipe includes local ingredients depending on the region, giving each version a unique touch. The incorporation of sourdough in this recipe is an innovation that adds flavor and improves the texture, in addition to making it healthier and easier to digest.
