Soft chocolate cookies

Soft chocolate cookies are one of the most beloved desserts in Latin America and around the world. Their origin dates back to the United States, where they became popular in the 1930s as an innovative type of cookie with chocolate chunks, commonly called "chocolate chip cookies." In various Latin American countries, they have slightly different names; for example, in Mexico they are usually called simply "cookies with chocolate chips," while in Argentina and Chile they are known as "chocolate cookies." Regardless of the name, these cookies are a classic that unites generations and cultures due to their unique flavor and soft texture.

The secret of these cookies lies in their combination of ingredients and the way the dough is prepared, which results in a tender texture and an intense chocolate flavor. Furthermore, the addition of nuts adds a crunchy touch that perfectly complements the softness of the cookie. Their popularity remains strong, making them a basic recipe in homes and bakeries throughout Latin America.
