Italian chocolate cookies

Italian chocolate cookies are a traditional dessert that has won over palates all over the world thanks to their soft texture and intense flavor. Originating from Italy, these cookies are characterized by combining simple ingredients with baking techniques that enhance their exquisiteness. In some Latin American countries, such as Mexico and Argentina, they are also known as "cocoa cookies" or simply "chocolate cookies," although variants may include local ingredients that slightly change their flavor and presentation.

The classic Italian recipe includes a white icing that adds a sweet and decorative touch, very common in celebrations and special occasions. Their careful preparation reflects the Italian pastry tradition, where not only the flavor matters, but also the final aesthetics of the product.
